Our Approach
Compliance Engineering International work with design teams, engineers and building owners to mitigate electromagnetic and radio frequency interference in and around research laboratories, medical facilities, commercial and education buildings.
With the increase of technology, which will only increase as smart buildings are developed, property developers and architectural professionals have demanded pre-emptive design of low EMF buildings – creating buildings that are intrinsically immune to electromagnetic interference from internal and external sources. Each building sector presents unique EMI challenges, from ensuring patient safety from radiation sources through to protecting all types of electronic equipment from environmental ELF and DC fields. Mitigation techniques are many fold. These involve segregation, careful design of the in-building electrical systems, shielding using different materials and active cancellation.
To help you gain a better understanding of EMI, we also offer one-hour lunchtime CPDs, tailored for architects, engineers and building owners. Please contact us to find out more.
